This is a top-of-the-line Gecko model that is used commonly in many of their top configurations. Sensors are built into the heater assembly. However, a separate pressure switch should be mounted into the pressure switch tap for full safety functionality to work, sending the proper signal to shut down other spa components if the heater happens to malfunction.
